I literally just had this deep cleaning done to my teeth like 4 days ago. I hadnt been to the dentist in about 12-14 years when i got my braces out. I didnt really brush often and i never flossed. I had to get a tooth taken out because it had cracked for some reason in 2017 and i didnt have the money to fix it, nor did i think too much about it. I was young, still am comparatively (28). No it didnt hurt when they were cleaning them. Yes they feel alot better, but alittle sensitive on the one i got a filler on (the tooth beside the one that i had to take out). No receding gum line (good genetics? Idk). YES i brush twice a day now AND floss. Im taking it alot more seriously now, as should everyone. I hope i answered anybodys questions.

I am wearing Invisalign but I experience discomfort (feels like electric shocks in my teeth) when I drink water and when the cold hits my teeth. What can I do to fix this enamel issue please? Sensitive toothpaste from my dentist isn’t doing the job

What If i buy the tools and bring it for the dentist to install?

Amazing explanation! I went to school for Dental Assisting did externship but barely got the chance to do anything because the dentist didn't want me to be active so I basically just watched. We had the periodontist come in an baby!! I was working !! Love it! I got into a different field after but I am thinking of beginning my journey in Ortho Assisting and I love the explanation and with each video I do believe I will be ready to apply to any Ortho office. I wouldnt get a permanent retainer simply because if you have a medical emergency and need an MRI of your head it can cause artifact in the pictures which could prevent the drs seeing them clearly

Removing all the decay is satisfying to watch. However my advice to anyone that is advised to get a root canal is to just say "NO! Remove it, and replace with a fake tooth please." ... My experience from getting root canals and crowns in my 20's has resulted in my teeth rotting from the inside out now in my 30's. The problem is that you cannot reach these areas with any sort of mouthwash toothbrush floss or anything else. Therefore that inevitable happens when your tooth hurts from the inside, leaving you with an impacted decayed tooth that causes abscesses and severe pain.

i need advice, i had a root canal a few weeks ago, it hurt so bad during the whole procedure its hurt after now its been so painful after almost 2 weeks, I have to go back to finish it up in a few days but I'm scared bc it hurts so bad what should I do? I'm scared to trust this dentist now

My orthodontist gave me a permanent retainer and when I asked about a removable one he said that it wasn't needed. Should I insist ? I really don't want my teeth to go back to what they were before braces 😭

Lol, I had that habit. My parents tried everything to get me to stop sucking my thumb. I never stopped until I reached the age of 8. I had a bit of an overbite, but it didn't show unless I smiled with my teeth. Now I have to suffer 2 years with braces. Listen to this man, guys. Don't end up like me😅

hi. so for the last 4 years i have had my back tooth broken off a bit its only the edge and the filling is still there. it dosent hurt i can chew on it but im getting it fixed in august. i searched in google and i think only the enamel is broken off. im not expert but beacause its only the corner there is no inside of the tooth showing thats why its not hurting how serius is it. i had old dentist check it out she was saying get it fixed as soon as possible meanwhile others says its not that serius

mine don't really hurt, but the sensation of having 8 things stuck between my teeth makes me want to floss constantly. Super uncomfortable

I have a rubber band just like that on my right side 24/7, at first it hurt so bad but now it feels weird not to have them in lol. I can also see a lot of progress with my midline so far, and to anyone going through pain from braces rn, push through! Trust me, it’s worth it!!

I used head gear for a while but because i play wind instruments doctor quit me using head gear and asked me to comeback after turning 20 for a surgery.is there any other way other than head gear and surgery for this situation

I had braces as an adult. Invisalign would have been my choice.

I had a bicuspid tooth break below the gum today. The dentist wanted to pull the whole thing because he said the nerves are exposed. I just had him take the peace out because I was in no pain, even when he put air down in it and said " you have to be feeling this" . Had this same thing happen 10 years ago and I just pulled out the peace myself and it healed fine. Shouldn't this just heal up like before?

I have class 2 on one side and class 3 on the other side. What does that mean?

A quality dentist worth their salt is always gonna recommend a root canal if theyre confident they can perform it well. I remember being so nervous before the first time i had one, then realized it really wasnt all that crazy. Its really just a more involved filling. If you have bad tooth pain, you will feel immediate bliss once they numb you up and remove the root. Instant relief, its great. Iykyk

I didn't see you mention Humana, I looked over every one of the plans you spoke about, and I am surprised there was nothing about (Humana Extend 5000) I have this plan, is there some reason you would leave it out of the top plans? I am going in for some work soon and don't want some crazy hidden cost coming up.

I wanted to ask something, please answer, my teeth got extracted midway through the process and I wanted to know, will there be teeth gaps like between my front teeth? Cuz I don’t know but I’m thinking that if you extract teeth, the front teeth will form a gap or spacing, im genuinely worried.

Can't they make an Invisalign-type device where a tooth placeholder is included in the tray rather than affecting adjacent teeth to make a bridge? It wouldn't even need to cover the entire arch.
